Torrevieja Trip  Costa Blanca 
What a great holiday we had in this Spanish resort. We stayed about 30mins away from the coast. Near the huge Habaneras shopping centre. Lovely part of the town. ​

Restaurants and bars in Torrevieja
I loved the food and the drink. You can get any kind of cuisine.
Marine bar gave us real hearty British food. They even have Sunday roast but we missed out because we didn`t book.
We loved the Great Greek, and David`s place. Amber brewery on the front was one of our favourites. We enjoyed the Keeper Bar is located next to the Man of the Sea monument on the beach promenade. Buskers there were very good.

Torrevieja Promenade

Torrevieja literally translates as Torre Vieja which means the Old Tower, used to be a tiny fishing village.

Tuesday Found our roots. Walked into town.

​Saturday - Moors and Christians festival in the town of Alcoy.

The highlight of our trip to Costa Blanca. Sadly only MacDonalds open when home.  
Sunday - Marina bar for lunch. Really British food. 
Monday -
Tuesday  -Alcar del Jucar.  Another gem. Village with Cave buildings.

​Wednesday -Pink lake Luguna Rosa. We took the small train from
Torrevieja town centre. Fun way of seeing the Salt mountains and the famous Pink lake. Great experience

Thursday Last look around Torrevieja. Returned to the Great Greek.
